Download Explosive Drive

Download: Explosive Drive

Platform: Windows XP, 7, 8 (64-Bit only)

Version: 1.0.5563.41424

Size: 148.45 MB

Known Bugs: Occasional freeze-ups between loading/waiting screens. If the game freezes up on you, you can hit ctrl+shift+esc, under the Applications tab –> select Explosive Drive, then click End Task.

New: The music player now functions correctly. You can drop .wav files into the “C:\Program Files (x86)\ExplosiveDrive\Your_Music_Here” folder and if named correctly, e.g. “Track03” the game should recognize the music file. The last step is just to enter a race and hit the “M” key until you hear the song that you’d like to go along with that particular race track. And that’s it, the song will automatically play next time you enter a race on that particular race track. Note: Currently only recognizes up to 7 .wav files.

Here are the basic controls:

Menu controls
X = confirm
C = go back
Esc = quit/leave the last screen
WASD = walk

Race controls
Arrow keys = steer
X = gas
C = brake
Z = activate Gyro-Balance (a special feature that lets you rev up your engine to produce rotational forces)

Hey there. Sorry for the late reply. Check to see if you downloaded the whole file. It should be 148.45 MB.

Unfortunately, GoDaddy has a problem with their file server that I will have to call tech support about. You can head on over to gamejolt to download it from their more reliable server. http://gamejolt.com/games/explosive-drive/58474#!

I apologize for the trouble.

Will there ever be a 32-bit version?

Yes, if everything works out, we should have both versions available in the next update.
