Special Edition Early Look

Hello Gamers!

“It’s been a long time since I’ve pushed any updates to you guys, but it’s been because of a new project that I’ve been developing.

So, I’ve decided to rewrite the entire game with everything I’ve learned from the last game. It’s called Explosive Drive Special Edition (which might get renamed to something else later). This time, everything is a lot more modular and customizable. It’s what you need if say you want to be able to have a lot of different game types – where instead of your whole game only having a traditional race, I can add other game types like battle, stunt, tag, soccer… you name it. It’s just a matter of configuring with different components. It’s like creating the game, but with building blocks that can be assembled even by the end user. With that idea, I’m thinking about introducing a way to edit tracks from a flying camera – from pausing the game, and switching to creative mode. But, I might be getting ahead of myself with that dream.

If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s a video with me talking showing some of the new stuff I’ve put together:

I’m excited with the future of this game looking promising.

Thank you for sticking around, and I hope to see you enjoying this game in the near future. Until then, wishing you the best gaming experience.”

Hello again Mack! I am glad you liked my playthrough of Explosive Drive. I also had a ton of fun recording. I keep coming back to this demo video and think of the crazy shenanigans that I could get myself into. One thing I would like to see, however is a slightly adjusted chase camera, as the one here appears to be too high (then again it is in development).I also know that you may have a lot on your mind regarding this game, but I have some ideas for cars/vehicles. Maybe some levels to. But I won’t go into detail here, I feel as if that would overwhelm the development of the game. Other than those things, I wanted to point out some things regarding my profiles, accounts, etc. You may recognize me from my gamejolt profile as mulkeand, although my real name is Andrew. I considered using it for my Youtube channel, but opted for Bubba Drew, as I figured it would have more of a ring to it. Excuse me if I caused any confusion. Other than that, the game is looking promising, and I look forward to playing it. I wish the best of luck in development and brainstorming!
